Church of the Messiah

Over the course of the past few weeks, we have explored the story of beginnings found in the early chapters of Genesis. We’ve asked questions: Why is there something and not nothing? What are we here for? Why it the world so broken? We’ve learned that God’s abundant love, God’s intentions and purposes for our lives, and our very own human choices are part of the answer to these questions. This week we ask the question: So What? If we come into being as a result of an act of God’s creative love, if our lives have purpose and meaning as a part of all of God’s creation if we are trusted and expected to faithfully choose our paths as followers of our living God, then … So What?
