Church of the Messiah

This Sunday is a very special day: Confirmation Sunday. We have 19 incredible young people saying “YES!” to Jesus and being confirmed at our 9:30 AM worship service. Three of these confirmands have yet to be baptized and will receive the sacrament of baptism as part of their confirmation, affirming their commitment to a life of faith. Confirmation is a sacred day of commitment and celebration in the life of an individual and the Church. It is an important marker along our spiritual journeys—an opportunity for young people to claim their faith for themselves, affirming the grace of God acknowledged in their baptism and committing to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
