The Living Word
• Series: Hearing God: A Lenten Sermon Series
Hearing God's voice is not about searching for a distant whisper—it’s about recognizing Jesus, the Living Word, as God's ultimate voice to humanity. Hebrews 1:2 declares that in these last days, God has spoken to us by His Son. When Jesus says, 'My sheep hear my voice' (John 10:27), He is not just referring to a moment of divine prompting, but to Himself as the very Word made flesh (John 1:14). To hear God is to know Christ—to abide in His teachings, to trust His promises, and to follow where He leads. As we listen, we are not chasing after mere echoes of the past; we are responding to the ever-living voice of Jesus, the One who still speaks, still leads, and still transforms lives today.
